Croydon

In South London, lies a large town and commercial centre called Croydon. Croydon is located between London and England’s south coast and is actually the principal settlement area of the London Borough of Croydon.

Croydon was known for being the centre of industrialization in the 20th century, with large metal and car manufacturing companies. The town borders Selhurst and South Norwood to the north, South Croydon to the south, Shirley in the east and Beddington to the west. Croydon is served by A23 bypass that runs through the centre of the town and follow Purley way to the west of the area.

East Croydon station is the main and the busiest station in Croydon and third busiest in London. Just like most other areas in London, Croydon‘s main public form of transport is using buses.
